Focus GEEW - ERCP from basics to master

GEEW IS EVOLVING and becomes FOCUS GEEW

For the next couple of years, we have decided to revise the formula of our endoscopy educational events and organize multiple one-day conferences dedicated to one specific field in Endoscopy. This new series of events held 2 or 3 times a year will be entitled “FOCUS GEEW”.

Considering the great evolution in the world of endoscopy, we believe that this new formula will help in providing more education from basics to expertise on dedicated topics. Dense and dynamic program will consist of lectures, didactic live endoscopy demontrations from the endoscopy room of HUB – Erasme Hospital, quiz, Q&A and panel discussions. Our aim is to promote maximum interaction between the audience and the experts. In doing so, we hope to reinvigorate the community of former GEEW participants by including cross-disciplines (gastroenterology, hepatoloty, oncology, digestive surgery, endoscopy nurses, etc) and offering them the opportunity to deepen in a single day their knowledge of a specific subject.

In 2024, 2 events are already scheduled:

March 22, 2024: Focus GEEW – ERCP from basics to master – An overview of the Michel Cremer-Jacques Devière school of ERCP
June 28, 2024: Focus GEEW – Hepato-Endo from basics to clinical practice
The courses will take place in the Auditorium De Genst, Building W of the Uniersity Libre de Bruxelles Faculty of Medicine, Campus “Erasme”, in Brussels (Anderlecht), close to the hospital. The meeting will also be live streamed as we can not ignore the current trend to offer those who cannot travel the opportunity to follow distance learning as a more sustainable and budget friendly alternative.

Application for CME credits will be requested for each course to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME).
